CCYFCL football and cheer league is a non-profit organization re-established in 2015 to provide the opportunity for children to participate in youth football and cheer. The CCYFCL provides children the chance to learn the values of character, integrity, discipline, and team work through football and cheer; to bring our communities together through a common interest in sports; to promote fair play and fellowship; to teach the game elements promoting safety, enjoyment, and healthy competition.
Our representative continually work with State and County government officials to ensure that the sport we love is allowed to continue, even during a pandemic, by ensuring a focus on strict safety standards and continued training guidelines for coaches. In 2024 we are comprised of 80 teams and close to 2,000 football players, including 10 Pitbull teams. This is a huge accomplishment for our programs, our league and the sport of football. One of the things that has made this league successful is that we are self-governed, each program is represented and has a vote. This works due to a level of respect and trust among each of the participating programs and leaders to see the bigger picture and not a self-contained point of view.
For upcoming seasons we will continue to build strong foundations for our athletes and maintain the expected level of integrity and conduct from our programs, players, parents, and coaches. We look forward to future seasons and the continued progress of our players and programs. As evident by each of our programs fielding Pitbull teams the future is bright and we have you to thank for that!
